First of august. August. That’s like the best month of the year! The countdown has begun! Only eleven days to my b’day and school start. Can’t wait, but, wait. What are you allow to do when you’re seventeen? In Denmark, when you turn sixteen it’s allowed for you to drink. In the Stats you can drive. In Denmark, when you turn 18 you are allow to drive. In the States you are allow to drink. Ironic isn’t it? In Denmark you learn how to drink before you learn how to drive, but in the States you learn how to drive and then you learn how to drink, but I guess its works. Anyway. My b’day is coming up and I have no idea what to do! Should I celebrate big time? Or a girls night out or maybe I should just do like I did last year; a movie with two of my most beloved friends. No idea what to do and it’s not like I have a money tree and my job at Blockbuster is good. Very good benefits and that’s about it. I can’t ask my mum cuz she’s gonna be like: “Adwoa, you’re sixteen, no seventeen!” and that would be it. If I ask my dad he would say that I should ask my mum! Now, I’m thinking; a girls night out would cost a whole lot less than a big party. I mean, think about; a girls night out cost, what? 100-150 kroner (20-30 dollars) a big party, on the other hand is going to cost at least 2000 kroner (400 dollars) I think I’ll stick with the girl’s night out.

To talk about something totally different: does any of watch Gossip Girl? And have any of you read the books? I’m reading the books and I’m watching the series. I LOVE the books. So good! And the series is so fantastic! But if you compare the two things...I won’t say that you can’t compare the two things, cuz you can, but I was just so confused when I saw the first couple of episodes of the series. As far as I remember, Dan doesn’t hook up with Serena in the first book. They are getting real serious in the third book and even then they don’t really hook up, cuz Dan hooks up with Vanessa! And talking about Vanessa. In the book she’s baled and she wears black clothes. But maybe it’s just me who don’t remember the first book...hehe...
